Janette & Luca's Wedding

We went go-kart racing for the hen night--I was the slowest, most careful one on the track, but it was still really fun! Janette was the fastest!

Pre-ceremony shots of the Blessed Sacrament Church

It's hard to see here, but Janette went up to the choir balcony for her 'first look' photo shoot with Luca

Our bouquets were white flowers with green hops, and the groomsmen had wheat on their boutonnieres--the hops & wheat were for their mutual love of beer

We watched their 'first look' photo shoot from below--it was so sweet, and almost had me crying before the ceremony had even started

Janette's 4-year old niece Lily (here, with Jessica, Martha & Katie L-R) and Luca's niece were the two flower girls. When we were getting ready in the morning, Lily was getting her instructions on what to do--she would go first, throwing the flowers, then her brother Jadon would follow with the rings. When she repeated it back, she said "I throw the flowers, and Jadon throws the rings." So cute!

Janette's mom Norma had the most beautiful Mother of the Bride dress!

Pre-ceremony wedding party photo shoot--I'm in the green dress, haha!

Just about to head up the aisle with my groomsman, Luca's brother Yuri

There's a lot of going up & standing & sitting back down in a Catholic wedding, and bowing before the altar each time you go back up.

The pictures aren't all that clear, but you get the idea...

Blessing the rings & sprinkling them with holy water

Luca's brother-in-law Jim did one of the readings

And his sister Melissa & brother Gabe sang

They're amazing--when I heard them practicing and didn't see them, I thought it was a recording!

Gabe's little son came up & stood by him at one point--so cute!

Processional down the aisle again

The best man's speech--it totally made me cry!

The maid & matron of honor (Janette's sisters Jasmine & Jessica L-R) wrote & performed a really cute song

The father of the bride's speech

The Father-Daughter dance--they did salsa and it was brilliant!

Congratulations Janette & Luca!
