George's Christening

On May 15th we had George's Christening at our church

We timed his Christening to coincide with Mom's visit--it was lovely to have her there for it and George is crazy about Grandma!

The service was really lovely. Our church's new minister Jason McCullaugh did such a lovely job of it--it was his first baptism at the Bridge Church--and George was a little star, too! He's learned to clap recently and when Jason was talking about how God made these promises for George, he clapped as if on cue, haha!

George was so chilled out in the minister's arms--he just stared up at him and didn't make a sound, even when getting wet. Everyone was so surprised and impressed!

We picked our favorite hymn, "The Summons"--we also had it in our wedding service

George got so many lovely presents!

We just loved his Christening outfit--we got it from a shop in Bradford, The Christening Box, and they had so many lovely, classic things. His shoes are Early Days, just like Prince George's!

Biscuit jumped in the gift bag and made herself vulnerable to her biggest fan...
