34 Months

George is 34 months old!

Happy Easter!

It was so lovely to celebrate Easter with Grandma! We went to church, ate chocolate eggs, and had roast lamb for dinner!
George loved his chocolate egg (we made him savour it over a few days!)

We took Grandma to Temple Newsam Farm to see the new baby lambs--George loved riding on the John Deere tractors in the farmyard

He wasn't that sure about the sheep & lambs

It was so soft!

George was interested, but still cautious!

They had some cute new calves

These piglets were just a few days old

Looking at the piglets

Baby goats!

We also took Grandma to the National Rail Museum in York

George is still crazy about his trains--he lined up his minis so neatly one morning, I had to take a picture!
We ordered a new BabyDam for the bathtub, and it arrived in this huge box. George and Biscuit played in it for days!

I love this action shot--Biscuit jumped out at soon as George started to climb in!

One of my public diplomacy books arrived in the mail, so I let George open it (he loves opening letters and packages)--he was thrilled and he sat looking through it in the hall for awhile!

Little academic!

Two weeks after Easter, we went to help lower the Chevin cross in Otley.
Richard and our friends from church did the heavy lifting--I just looked after George and Noah!

Daffodil season was gorgeous this year!
George loves Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs--he recites the Queen's line "Mirror, mirror, on the wall, who's the fairest of them all?" and laughs his head off!

Richard took George to a Leeds Dads event at the Tetley

Checking out the koi pond at Golden Acre Park

The warmer weather means evening walks up to Starbucks!

George picked out this Cookie Monster hat at Next--his expression kills me!

Playing peek-a-boo through my hair

On the first sunny day, we went for a walk and ate strawberries in the sunshine

Enjoying the longer evenings

Sunny day at Golden Acre Park

After about a year since getting scared by a moving ride-on, George finally let us put money in this racecar ride-on and he actually enjoyed it!

George spotted this tractor mowing the playing fields and pointed it out

He kept saying "John Deere Tractor!"

It's crazy to think the March post had snow and this April post had sunny days with temps in the 20s C/70s F! We've been getting out and enjoying the warmer weather and the longer evenings--lots of walks to the parks and Starbucks!

George's speech is getting better and his ABC's are coming along nicely

Firsts this month:
--First time staying on a ride-on without freaking out
--First chocolate Easter egg of his own
--First Easter with Grandma
